Let’s say you have an interest list of potential new home buyers and you want to map where they currently live so you can see which of your advertising methods are working, which aren’t. What do you do?
Enter 2Map2.com, a new mapping tool in beta test that allows you to upload an Excel file, specify which fields you want to map (address, city, state or zip) and very quickly it will produce a map which can be displayed, printed or embedded on another web page.
2Map2 also allows you to select what kind of marker you want to use, the overall look of the map, stores your maps and produces something like heat maps to show concentration (looks more like smudges to me). Plus you can zoom in/out, re-center or move it around on the screen, select the size of the map (including specific height and width in pixels), and more.
It also has some flexibility to handle incomplete or missing data automatically. Another feature is once you have created a map, you can mouse over each of the location points and it will display the data even if it is not address related (i.e., phone numbers, name, etc.).
There is also a merge tool which will allow you to combine two or more maps so you can see where your prospects come from as well as your buyers on the same map. This could be a valuable measurement tool for home builders and their marketing agencies (or virtually any business) since 2Map2 displays a star at the “center point” with the markers surrounding.
Plus, best of all, it is currently free of charge since it is in beta test. To participate in the beta, all you need to do is supply your email address and password, and upload your data.
Go to 2Map2.com to try it for yourself.
Happy Mapping Everyone!
